The Body and Soul of Laurtec Writing SolutionsThe body behind Laurtec Writing Solutions is me, Laurie Hodges Humble. I hold a BA in English Literature from the University of British Columbia. I keep my writing skills honed and creative juices flowing by constantly updating my skills and knowledge through a variety of course offerings from recognized and not-so-recognized institutions across western Canada. I take a common sense approach to writing and basically all things in life. Hey, some of my best insights have come while riding the bus!
The Mission and Vision of Laurtec Writing Solutions is what forms our soul. Our mission is to assist you to produce more effective written communication materials. Our vision is to help people help themselves through sound writing and editing skills. I have been writing and editing since I first picked up a pencil. Today I am a professional writer and editor with a great eye for detail. I formed my company so that I would be better able to help you with your communication needs. This includes writing as well as editing: • business, thesis and technical reports, • grants to assist your group achieve its goals, • resumes that get you the job you need to pay the bills, and • editing - Let me be your fresh eyes and fact finder!
